About

As a child, I crafted Nancy Drew-style mysteries from the little desk in my bedroom. I wrote and doodled and practiced, simply for the joy, never imagining that writing would become my career. When I studied journalism at Abilene Christian University, I began to see how words had the power to open doors and ultimately even change the world.

Since then, I've interviewed sports celebrities (Atlanta Braves legend Ron Gant and NBA All-Star John Starks, to name a few), and C-suite level executives leading multibillion-dollar companies. My one-on-one conversations with direct selling industry leaders and resulting cover stories and profiles have appeared on national newsstands almost monthly since 2005.

Along the way, I’ve built my own characters and novels, ghostwritten for publications and other professionals, including a New York Times bestselling author, and co-authored a memoir that is presented to over 75,000 students nationwide each year.

Whether you found me through one of my books, a professional referral or an attention-grabbing interview that made you want to find out more, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by. Writing is a pastime I crave and adore, but it’s readers (you!) who allowed me to turn it into a career.

Much love,
